Indulge Your Taste Buds: A Foodie's Dream Come True at Norwegian Prima's Indulge Food Hall

Are you looking for a delicious and unique dining experience on your next cruise? Look no further than the new Indulge Food Hall on Norwegian Prima! This exciting new venue is a great alternative to the usual buffet restaurant and offers a wide variety of tasty options for every palate. With cuisine from Texas BBQ all the way to Mediterranean tapas and Asian-inspired noodles, you can taste the best of the world.

Seating in the Indulge Food Hall is first come, first served and it does have set opening hours. This is a popular venue so make sure you get there early! There is both indoor and outdoor seating of all kinds, simply find an open table and have a seat. You can also grab a seat at the bar to get a better view of the chefs in action.

Once you're seated, you can order your food. Each station in the food hall offers its own selection of dishes, and you can order your food on the individual tablet style menu found on your table. (Don't be shy about ordering several dishes to try, many offerings are small plate style and we made the initial mistake of not ordering enough!) You can also order drinks from the bar on the tablet or go up and order your drinks in person from the indoor or outdoor bars.

  • Tapas: As the name suggests this venue offers bite sized tapas dishes. From ham or chorizo to duck pate on toast. Order a few while waiting for your entree to arrive, dishes generally arrived very quickly to the table.

  • The Latin Quarter: This cute little food truck designed stand provides appetizer sized dishes including a range of tostadas, guacamole & chips and seafood cocktails. Dishes are small plate style so order a few!

  • The Garden: This stand offers a range of soup and salad options and is a great choice when looking for something a bit lighter amongst the other rich food offerings. The ability to choose your salad preference and the protein of your choice was particularly good. The menu is mirrored in lunch and dinner menus.

  • Nudls: If you're craving noodles of any kind, this is the place for you. From Singapore Street Noodles to German Spaetzle they cater to many tastes. We loved the bolognaise tagliatelle in particular!

  • Q Texas Smokehouse: Q may be familiar to those of you who have sailed on Norwegian ships in recent years. This restaurant serves a variety of barbecue dishes. Among the lunch options are the Lone Star Chili and Pulled Pork Sandwiches. If you're in the mood for dinner, try the Pitmaster Platter, which was BBQ heaven!

  • Seaside Rotisserie: My first thought was that this was a seafood restaurant and being allergic I gave it a miss at first and then discovered the menu of a wide variety of meats. The Australian Lamb Chop was a must being Australian, a touch of home while sailing the Caribbean! The salads were also fresh and tasty.

  • Tamara: This is the Food Hall's Indian kitchen and it is truly amazing, definitely my personal favourite! With a window open to their kitchen you can watch these incredible Indian chefs whip up naan bread and other dishes using the specially designed tandoor ovens. If you like Indian you MUST try the Garlic Naan, it was the best and lightest we have eaten outside of India itself! Another favourite dish of ours was the Short Rib Dosa.

Don't forget to leave room for dessert!! The Indulge Food Hall experience wouldn't be complete with indulging in some decadent cakes, icecream or chocolates! As you would expect the food hall has a number of sweet treat offerings:

  • Just Desserts: This self serve display is filled with mini desserts of all kinds and the offerings change daily. From cheesecake, to mousse to sweet tarts there is sure to be something that catches your eye and delights your taste buds.

  • Just Icecream: This included icecream stand offers a wide range of ice cream flavors with all the toppings to make your own sundaes!

  • Coco’s: Another Norwegian Cruises favourite that has found it's way into the Indulge Food Hall is Coco's. Anything ordered here is a specialty cafe item, so there is a charge, but the decadent treats are definitely worth it!

  • Starbucks: This is one of two Starbucks offered on Norwegian Prima. As with all Norwegian Cruise Line Starbucks locations there is a charge for each item unless you have purchased the Unlimited Starbucks Package that allows you unlimited coffees, teas, frappaccinos and refreshers you can drink!

Whether you're looking for a quick bite or a more leisurely meal, the Indulge Food Hall has something for everyone. So what are you waiting for? Come aboard Norwegian Prima and experience all that Indulge Food Hall has to offer!
